Each VMI solution is tailored to meet each clients' individual needs and coordinated through Janel's dedicated VMI operations team and trained onsite specialists.

Onsite Solutions

Janel provides our partners with the flexibility needed to reduce overhead and always feel confident their needs and the needs of their clients are being met. Services are completely customizable, but at a minimum will include:

  • Routine vendor dock-sweeps, consolidation, verification, and inventory delivery to end-users.

  • Dedicated VMI Specialist along with a minimum of two trained backup specialists who are prepared to fill-in as needed to be onsite full-time, part-time, or provide scheduled service.

VMI Specialist

A VMI Specialist will be introduced onsite as an extension of the client's organization and will act as a liaison between end-users and vendors. Duties can include:

  • Inventory delivery

  • Cleaning and organizing inventory location(s)

  • Stocking and scanning inventory onsite

  • Relaying spot orders and pertinent information to specified contacts.

  • Any other special instructions that are required and agreed upon

Software Solution

Janel’s innovative software solution utilizes an Android phone app that is completely customizable to meet your specific needs, and because we have already developed the software, there is no large initial investment required from our partners. Features include:

  • Transparent view of all onsite inventory

  • Dual part numbers and descriptions for vendors and end users

  • Selective user logins with or without permissions to edit predetermined max/mins, remove, or add new inventory items.

  • Unlimited inventory locations

  • Lifespan and specified date range reports can be run by end user, location, vendor, or stock item that include:
